helpful staff clean room comfortable bed city center
the staff were helpful. the room was clean and the bed felt comfortable. the location is convenient to the arena. the hotel is close to city center shopping.
the bathroom was a little tired. i found it to be okay, but not perfect.

hot food breakfast option helpful staff water pressure old hotel reception answer
the breakfast, oh man, it was great. i mean they had so many options and all the food was hot. the hotel was also close to central station, like a five minute walk. the staffs were all very nice to me, it was great.
the shower was not hot. the water just dripped out, it had no pressure and no hot water either. when i talked to the receptionist, he told me it always happens because it's an old hotel. that answer was so bad, i mean so bad!

super clean room big tv super clean bathroom smelly hallway stained carpet discarded plate
my room was super clean! i stayed in a newly refurbished room. the big tv worked great and i found complementary water and a kitkat in the fridge. the bathroom was also super clean.
the hallways were smelly. i saw plates left outside rooms. the carpets had many stains.

train station helpful staff lovely dinner quiet room
The hotel is near the train station and also close to many restaurants. the staff was very polite and helpful . i had dinner in the bar. I found it lovely. the room was clean and relatively quiet, very important to me.

convenient stay
good food attentive barman
The hotel's location suited my needs well. i walked about 10 minutes to reach the town center. bar food was good and ross, the barman, was attentive. He was pleasant too.
a bathroom light went out . there was no maintenance on site, so the bulb couldn't be replaced. showering in the dark presented some dangers, but the hotel is very close to a busy road, and opening the window meant being woken up from road noise.

dated bathroom poor sound insulation
I found some issues. the bathroom felt quite dated. It definitely needs some updating. the shower head sprayed water all over the place, and the grout had seen better days. I feel a simple refresh would help. also, the sound insulation wasn't great. i could hear noise from the hallway late at night. it impacted my sleep quality.
